Fast, Accurate Fingerprint Authentication
Powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core CPU with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB flash memory, the UBio-X Slim processes fingerprint authentication in under one second with consistently high accuracy. The 500 dpi fingerprint sensor captures detailed ridge data with a platen area of 16.4 x 19.4mm, delivering reliable matching even with worn, dry, or slightly damaged fingerprints that cheaper sensors struggle to read.
Patented Live Fingerprint Detection (LFD)
The UBio-X Slim incorporates VIRDI’s patented Live Fingerprint Detection technology — the same technology that has earned VIRDI top rankings in global fingerprint algorithm competitions (FVC). The LFD system uses visible light to detect and reject fake fingerprints made from gelatin, silicone, rubber, glue, paper, and film. Multi-Card Support Built In
Beyond fingerprint recognition, the UBio-X Slim supports both 125 KHz EM RF cards and 13.56 MHz smart cards — covering the two most common card standards used across UAE and Middle East organizations.
